What Is The 10-Day Re-Zone Diet?

Let’s be honest. We all need food. If you want to live you have to eat. However, without the proper knowledge, nutrition can be extremely confusing and can even cause feelings of overwhelm and anxiety.
Most of you who know me, whether a client, family member or a friend, at some point I would have encouraged you to embark on a 10-Day Detox over the past 30 years. But times have changed and everywhere you look there is obesity, disease and quite frankly, people are eating themselves to death!
In 2022 I moved to the U.S. from South Africa, I then had to learn my new target market and decide what direction to take my many years of health coaching experience and knowledge.
It saddens me to say that one of my findings is that many people living in the U.S. have not experienced natural food flavors taste and according to data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, more than 2 in five adults are obese, and nearly 1 in 5 children are obese. Right behind them are the overweight crowd and that’s a whopping 30.7% of the adult population.
This is extremely concerning, how is it possible to be healthy without tasting the food your body was designed to taste? It is proven that people who have a diet high in vegetables, fruit, plant-based proteins, healthy fats and less animal products – they live longer!
Another observation, pretty much everywhere you turn, people are relying on app’s to tell them what their body requires daily. From calorie counting, the obsession with how much protein they “believe” they need, to the fear of healthy fats. Do you know what? Managing these app’s and analyzing the data, is also very stressful. Often when we are stressed and have anxiety, what do we do? We comfort eat and then beat ourselves up because we failed.
The cycle then continues!
I was worried. The problem seemed very big and I was feeling very small.
Obesity has been a serious chronic disease in the U.S. and globally for decades, this is not a new pandemic. My abrupt approach would be to tell you to simply just quit sugar, but even if you would like to quit sugar, can you? Have you tried? Be honest with yourself.
Many of my clients want to lose weight, this means quitting sugar addiction and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, enjoying the trustworthy food they eat. With this all in mind… I again asked myself, “What eating plan can I design that will get people motivated, give them hope and the power to succeed and achieve a brand new outlook to the food they eat, while ensuring we eat food that we can trust”.
My goal is to help as many people possible to feel freedom from negative thinking about food and self-image, halt years’ worth of invasive dieting thoughts and just eat right for life. Simply put, I wanted to bring the joy back into eating and feeling good about yourself.
